Yes there seems to be a problem with the podcasts, damn it! I have sent a message to the person who can resolve that, now I wait....

He's a good player, no doubt. Think between PP and his family it was CAFC and he who lost out (although he has played at a higher level for 2 years, I would say we are a more fancied club).

His first season at Scunthorpe was triumphant, and true to form he was agitating to get a transfer away to a bigger club. But his second was dire (partly through injury problems) so Scunthorpe didn't want to pay him Championship wages once relegated.

Who is this Jack Tweed? Did he invent the cloth which bears his name and take out a patent? Just joking, I know M & S invented it.

I am guessing he is a poet, philosopher or concert pianist. Or if none of those some other person of exquisite refinement. Am I right?

Jack Tweed an agent/ don't think so. Eddie Firmani, I think Teed comes from the Isle of Harris, hence Harris Tweed. Jack Twed is an' arris and maybe an agent for the area if you get my drift.

Josh never joined Millwall? He was released at the end of his contract with us and joined Scunny.

At the end of his first season with Scunny he was homesick and wanted to return South to London, his manager at the time at Scunny said that he wasn't causing any problems but was transfer listed due to his difficulties of settling oop North.

Josh was totally overrated by our fans, decent player but wasn't a starter in our team when let go and wasn't quite bench either, he never pushed on because he reached his level

Hell-bent, I don't feel he was overrated - I genuinely believed at the time of his debut that he was a better prospect than Jonjo. Never knew of any of these difficulties until reading this thread, in fact I only found out his brother stars in that shocking tv programme a few weeks back.

I rated Arter higher, but always thought Wright was a good player. Linked with Villa (maybe west ham?) for several seasons if I remember rightly?

Didn't ever see much (or possibly any) of Harry Arter prior to the first game of last season when he played against us. Seems like a nasty piece of work I've always thought. Has seemed fairly impressive since signing for Bournemouth.

Played just a couple of games for Charlton and was hyped up by so many fans.Much better youth players like Shelvey at the time who deserved more attention. Wright's bad attitude is now keeping him out of the game.

Josh was/is an Essex boy, it's in his jeans, it's how he was brought up, are we going to hang him as a footballer just because of his roots?

He is a very good footballer and why he is not at a club at present is anybody's guess? Remember it was the club who did not offer him a new contract, so he was able to find a new club without compensation, he didn't force his way out of Charlton.

Yes he obviously had issues with Mr Parkinson, but then again, so did H and myself so that's no crime.
