I sincerely hope that if we are going to sign a striker, it's not dependant on his sale. If so, you can see this going to the end of the window and leaving us no time. In the meantime, apart from the above Spurs story, there doesn't seem to be anyone interested.
From past experiences of dealing with Daniel Levy it is usually us that gets screwed,lets see what comes out in the wash,can SD talk the talk and do the walk.
That will be him bounced about on loan until his contract expires and he's released back to the league he's done well in this season. It's different for strikers. By refusing to sign the contract on offer, he HAD to go!!! If he wanted to be here he would’ve signed!! Cannot see how Bordeaux will be paying much more than us. We have tried our best to persuade him but to no avail - so we’ve done the right thing in getting rid. Personally I think he’s made a huge mistake. Think he will now disappear IMO, tho I hope we’ve negotiated a sell on clause just in case. Onwards & Upwards - I’m sure we will get a suitable replacement in, even if it’s a loan, Bart
French league isn't to poor league it once was so he'll be getting paid fairly well. Didn't they strike a TV deal with a Middle Eastern TV company off the back of the PSG ownership?
