As always another player that sometimes gets unfair stick. I kept my mouth shut and let his goals do the talking, well done lad.
He's bit of an enigma Parker. Supposedly a striker but his positioning can be woeful at times meaning we miss out on opportunities that other strikers may be able to take. He also seems to struggle with the easier chances. Stick him on the wing however he then seems to be able to score the strikers chances. Maybe going forward we need to play him as part of a front three playing on the right hand side. Either way he works hard and is our 2nd top scorer this season so long may it continue.
well - if we don't score any more goals this season - he will be our second top scorer ! - and if you don't think that was funny - then you need to realise that I've just spent the last couple of hours painting my garage door and its'frame - hilarious !
I've liked Parker from the start, he has been unlucky not to score more goals than he has. He is listed as being a winger on Wiki and soccer base.
Parker is obviously not a striker, I don't know why we have ever tried to play him there! Really good wide midfielder. He reminds me of Baldy Shaw - plays much better and scores far more goals when playing in midfield (or behind the strikers).
