As I explained honey, we didn't sell out a champions league game as it was boycotted by many in protest to a ticket price rise. Look it up. As for the semi, I think you're talking nonsense but will be happy to see your evidence that Chelsea didn't sell their allocation. Having been to plenty of games at the new Wembley, I know you get around 30k allocation for a semi final, sometimes 32,500. Therefore most you'll have is 65k of the 90k capacity for the clubs. The rest is club Wembley, sponsors and all that nonsense. The capacity was around 86k that day so the ones who didn't go are likely to be club Wembley etc. Chelsea have no problem filling wembley allocations (as I know from not getting tickets before), especially given it was against such a big rival. However if you're really interested in the debate, you may recall that that game was also sandwiched between 2 massive games home and away to Barca so some fans may have picked the C.L over the semi final for financial reasons etc. Again completely incomparable to your rare foray to Wembley. If you got 40k at Wembley I can only imagine they give a lot more to the clubs cos the play off games aren't as prestigious as the FA cup. And am I an armchair fan or a tourist?
