Yeah I think that was Jose’s problem, not that in reality it should be a problem, but he was someone who wanted to work with the ultimate professional who’d die for our badge. Kane is obviously one of them, possibly Hojbjerg too. How many more could we say that of about our players right now? Possibly Sonny despite his inconsistency.
At Chelsea he had loads; Terry, Carvahlo, Cech, Cole, Essien, Makelele, Lampard, Drogba.
Inter he had Zanetti, Cambiasso, Eto’o, Milito, Materazzi, Motta etc.
He relied on the good players who’d act like it was their first and last appearance. That mentality of player is unfortunately a rare breed these days.

Glad he's gone. The situation was beyond repair, although Mourinho wouldn't be entirely to blame by any means.
Regardless of who comes in however, I see a positive bounce - maybe even enough to win on Sunday and push for a CL place.
There is still some real talent in the squad (amid some real dross) and a few players with a few points to prove.
Might be a dead-cat bounce, but if it lasts til the close season then a new permanent coach appointment may have something to work with.
Mind you, I still believe in Santa & the Tooth Fairy...

Just be wary of the puffed edge and ignore the deep pan. You get extra cheese at the beginning but it soon goes.
