It would help if the players wanted to play for him. They look a dispirited bunch at the moment...<ok>

Rafa had the same players ? and his record with the chavs was better and his teams stronger.

This thread is now pointles, Jose has sussed it out

"Maybe the way is to have a different approach and not to concede goals because when you don't score enough goals, when you are a very offensive team and you don't score enough goals to win matches, maybe the right approach is to be more defensive, concede fewer goals and win matches with the few goals we score"

So basicaliy he has worked out how to win matches, if you can`t score more than your opponants concede less. This eureka moment could lead to a lot of 0-0 draws (not yet confirmed if this has crossed his mind yet though).
This remindes me of a famous Wenger comment, "sometimes in football to win a game you have to score a goal" (only sometimes <yikes>).

What sort of tactical clownery was that last night. No striker.

he moaned about his strikers last night, what strikers, the closest he came to putting on a Striker was Torres.<laugh>

The last striker he played without a striker was at Old Trafford.

Maureen went for a draw and has now egg all over his face.

Who was at fault for that "joke" "ridiculous" "sloppy" third goal? my money is on Frankie Lampard. He really showed his age. Slower than Carrick and that is something in modern football. <laugh>

70% more likely to draw JM is.

Despite Jose spending £70m in the Summer to improve the team Rafa had.
