Can someone explain to me why this advert is viewed as being racist? I really have no idea why this is offensive. It may have already been posted, but I'm not going to trawl through all the posts where everyone is taking digs at the other's club about who is the bigger racist.

Apparently you may include a number of your More senior/prominent and Real united members on this forum in your description as they agree with us over the advert.

Which other than the karate kid leaves you a little bit isolated in either your lack of social intelligence or your belligerent obsession with a club you claim is not your own.

Senior? We are not like the scousers who have no mind of their own. They just follow and accept anything , like they accepted anything that Suarez and Dalglish put out about Suarez and then had to repeatedly accept the punishments and apologise every step of the way.

We can judge for ourselves. Reina was wrong to be involved with an advert which depicted black people in an unfavourable light.

I have just read that the club are considering releasing a statement about this. It will show that they are learning from the Suarez incident.

And Christian your reading comprehension is a little out, Senior as in forum description, Real as in they spend more time on the United board than they do here or as seems the new trend creating a thread on the united board meant for the LFC boardquite fitting process for so called united fans more obsessed with LFC)

Nowhere did I say you weren't "thinking" (using term loosely ) for yourself: only that what was passing through your mind was seen as wrong by Liverpool fans, the majority of the other United fans posting here and by almost every black person(quite a large amount) that has tweeted on the matter. Hence my use of the term isolated.

Why oh why do people not learn? You just cannot win with an accusation of racism. The best thing to do is just say sorry and move on.The arguments will just show that you are at best ignorant of the current issues around the subject.

The city, the people and of course, LFC. He has never been into an alehouse in Liverpool as we have and seen, on a regular basis, a black guy, a chinese guy and a few white guys having a laugh over a pint, whilst all speaking with a Scouse accent. More than almost any other city in the UK, Liverpool is massively racially integrated.

I was in The Crown on Lime Street last weekend sitting at one of the pillars talking to a mate. A Chinese loking guy came over to the bar with a menu in his hand and asked the barmaid. "What's the pie of the day please girl?" in the broadest Scouse accent you could imagine. He then joined three of his white mates at a table.
