Mourinho seems to have some sort of mental block when he plays Barca, like he takes pleasure in attempting to wind them up and play scrappy, **** football. Other than that, his record speaks for itself. You only need to see what he did with Inter and what Benitez 'achieved' with pretty much the same squad when he took over, to know that he is capable of fine things as a manager. It would be good to see him take on Barca at football, his squad is good enough, but for some reason he chooses not to do this and to indulge himself. His ego is his ONLY problem in my opinion.
If I was a United fan I'd want Mourinho hands down. Although as a few have mentioned a manager at a smaller club with a chance to step up - please go for David Moyes and leave our Paul Lambert alone.
