We know we're not a huge club any more - not many will argue that. The likes of Barca, Real, United and a good handful of others are above us and we've got a lot of work to do to stop the slide down the rankings. But we do still turnover a lot of revenue and do still have a large fan base. Just need to start doing it on the pitch now!
I still remember being mesmorized by the great Liverpool teams of Bill Shankley and Bob Paisley but those days were all over a third of a century ago. Fuck, I'm getting old. So long as I get to see us beat Stoke in the League Cup and Bradford and Millwall in the FA Cup for the first time ever I'll be happy.
