Did Gomez do really well in the prem league ? no, not really, he did ok but nothing special, in terms of goals scored we have shelvey and perhaps JDG to play the same position and i think both are better players than Jordi and have the ability to improve as they get older .

Isnt Gomez cracking on a bit now ?
 
No need for speed when we can by pass their midfield with the long ball; Garry doesn't play wingers - Routledge, Pablo and JdG all played narrow as did Emnes and Dyer has been keeping warm in the dug-out.
Look out for clear cut 4 - 4- 2 with one speedster in midfield, two defensive midfield, one holding midfield. with the two up front interchanging as striker and number 10.
There again Sinclair's ability to cut inside every time he had the ball worked with Borini in the Championship.

There again, Garry may feel the need to develop a Plan B - one involving wingers.<cheers>
