Swansea
... is out of contract this Summer.

Anyone think he would be worth bringing back,on a permanent deal?

He'd be free, apart from a signing on fee,and knows "The Swansea Way".

I also don't think we need him. We've got good enough players to take our free kicks and set pieces already, and I don't think we need to add another lightweight midfielder to the squad. I wouldn't be devastated if we went and got him on a free, but he certainly wouldn't be signed to occupy a starting 11 place. Squad rotation.

I thinkits about time we lost playing the Swansea way or we will be relegated, sure thing after Monks appointment

No leave him where he is. I've never been an advocate of bringing old players back. More often than not it doesn't work out, although I agree there are some exceptions.

If free then why not.I have seen him bang in some good goals for wigan and has been their MOM on a few occasions....good squad player....

Maybe offer a 6 month contract and see how well he fares? Would be a good squad member to have for the first few rounds of the cups.

Been thinking this for a while Lib. Always liked him and would fit in well here. I'd go so far as to say I'll be surprised if we don't go for him. He knows the Club and many of the players and the Board. A more than decent player who could be a useful squad addition. The fact it's on a free should make Jenkins's eyes light up too.

I saw a comment about abandoning the 'Swansea Way' and I don't agree at all. We have to be true to ourselves, and once we change that we'll be like every other indistinct club in the League. Who wants to be like WBA or Stoke or the Mackems? We are known as an entertaining, passing and possession based side. Let's keep that going.

I thought he looked very good last night against QPR. Very comfortable on the ball and doesnt give it away to often. He is more than good enough for the PL and would fit back in easy to our squad. I would have hime back. Will he come back, I doubt it very much.

He wouldn't be a terrible signing but I'd rather the club push on with some young players if it's purely for squad rotation purposes. We seem strong in the midfield area at academy level so would rather see a local talent given the nod.
