If the terminal FFP issue had been sorted we might be able to spend more than we have but that's still hanging over our heads do its bargain basement for us still. I don't think promotion will be on the agenda for a year or 2 yet so let's hope we are set on building a reasonably solid foundation.

I think we're staying within our means which would make FFP irrelevant.

It's the tougher way to do things but any success would be more rewarding as a result.

This seems to be our main objective now, hence the bargain-basement signings. Having speculated quarter of a billion for abject failure the days of silly big-money signings are over. We couldn't afford the Rotherham striker, what does that tell you?...
FFP. Too little ambition. As Staines says you got to speculate to accumulate. We spent unwisely under Hughes, but we could have spent relatively little wisely now, and maybe needed to do so to remain in the Championship next season, and give us some chance of a promotion next. Way it is now we need to at least emulate our opponents today. Beat them today too!

absolute nonsense this player is well opver priced,a better player is omar bogle thats the player we should have signed ne can be sold on for a massive profit in three years time after scoring 100 goals
