If you watch Silva tonight, or Coutinho, that is exactly the role Giacc could play for us. At the moment we should be playing Giacc at no.10 in the hole, Defoe on the right, Lens on the left and Fletcher up front. Stick Catts and Mvilla in front of the back 4 and tell them to win the ball and give it to Giacc. Thats all city do with Silva, they keep the ball until they can give it to Silva and he plays in the forwards. If they can't get it though they keep the ball, no hoof, no long ball possession and wear you down.

On the radio this morning (wireless for Juan) they said we could not do a cash plus player (Buckley and Graham mentioned) deal for Rhodes. Blackburn are under some ffp type restrictions. Just been thinking about Austin. He's the same as Fer, he can't pass a medical so based on us failing Fer & Lombaerts there's zero chance of us signing Austin. Rondon to wba is a real sickener though when we are after a striker in that mould.
