Went to the England game the other night and decided to stay back 10 mins after full time to let the crowds disperse. Whilst waiting the team came back out for a cool down i managed to get Pickfords attention and ask him if he could come over and sign the younguns autograph book he said he couldn't as his hands were all strapped and his gloves were on and he had to do a cool down and was really sorry. I said no worries I understand good luck for the world cup. My little lad burst into tears as we started walking away. Then all I heard was pickford shout 2 minutes. He ran off down the tunnel and returned 2 minutes later to give my lad a pair of his gloves never have I seen such a big smile than that of my lads. What a top bloke he is, i shook his hand had a quick 30 second chat he give my lad a high 5 and off he went to cool down. That's a memory that will stick with him forever.
