Are some people upset that Liverpool are now spending money and have owners that have very deep pockets? There was less comments when Liverpool didn't have a pot to piss in and were selling top players and shopping in the bargain basement.
The kid is quality.... I'm gutted we are losing him before we have a chance to see his potential. He had a few off games last yr when the whole team went off the boil. He can beat a man, score goals and has a fantastic engine. Im going before I chuck my keyboard out of the window. Best of luck Hendo
Henderson, 4 goals in 71 appearances for Sunderland. Fee around £20m Anderson, 2 goals in 73 appearances for Man United. Fee around 30m euros, or £26m.
I made a similar pont on the manc board (regarding the fee on an relativley untested player). we have to look at performances as well. a midfielder can have an awesome game but not get an assist or a goal
55million on Carroll & Henderson And i bet they don't even finish in the CL places next season. Liverpool - been mediocre for over 20 years.
If we're mediocre then what does that make Newcastle? The last time you lot won a half decent trophy Winston Churchill was still Prime Minister
Rubbish like this from current top 4 fans would at least be understandable but from a newcastle fan it's just laughable.
player in blanck & white stripes in your avatar... ah meh... it looks as though you've been banned now (not my doing for once)
You can't win with some fans. The same fans who make a joke about us having no money to spend now make jokes about how we've apparently spent too much...
For 20 million you could buy a top class winger or full back but instead you buy someone as average as Henderson?
For 20 million, we probably will buy a winger and a full back. Henderson doesn't mean our business is done. Besides which, we shipped out N'Gog as part of the deal, which is something we were planning to do anyway.
If the deal is 12 million and N'gog then i guess it is decent, still not sure why you are targeting Henderson though.
