Gem of the Norfolk coast. Bar none!
From this morning's presser at Colney, some good news:

Norwich City FC ‏@NorwichCityFC 2m
The manager also confirms that Jonny Howson is set to start full training with the rest of the squad next week. #NCFC

No R Bennett or Gutierrez for the Hammers game, Snodders will be assessed <ok>

Not worried by any of these three tbh. Might be worth seeing what happens with Snodgrass not starting again (if he is fit to start), just to see what happens. As someone mentioned the other night, Snoddy is prone to being a little predictable in just about all he does, so for him to not be included in the starting line up, may create a small advantage on the right side of the pitch.

Fantastic news obviously he won't play against west ham but then its a good break to the spurs game where it would be good to see him in the squad although it might be worth playing the team we played saturday just to shut them down from an attacking perspective. Then we have a run of games all of which we could get something out of would be great to have him back starting against Villa. For me it would take that game from one that we might get appoint to one that we might win.

Blindin news, we really haven't copped well without him or tettey during their injury spells. If we can't get ourselves some results with Tettey, Fer and Howson fit then we never will.

Bah!

To be honest, we looked slightly more zingy on Saturday without Snoddy - Redmond's pace was a direct contrast to Snoddy's rather slower build-up and I thought that he gave Clichy a torrid time which is no mean feat. I'd like to see the same starting line-up at Upton Park with Snoddy on the bench.

Great news about Howson - he has been sorely missed.

I think West Ham is pretty close to a must win to be honest.

Cardiff was a must not lose and we lost. We are running out of games and desperately need points on the board.

Sorry Kemp, I'm not sure I agree. I'd prefer to overcomplicate these things if it's Ok.

Cardiff was a "preferably don't lose" and together with West Ham they were a "must not lose both".

So having lost against Cardiff, West Ham is now a "must not lose", but obviously ideally a win.

It can't be a "must win" because there are plenty more winnable games.

A draw would be a good result, giving us six points from five games, which is safety form.

Which actually suggests it isn't a "must not lose" because then we would still be on five points from five games, including two against title challengers.

So realistically it isn't a "must" anything. It's just an "ideally" something.

Hope that clears things up <ok>

Having Howson back will be a big boost to the team if he picks up where he left off and plays as he was before his back problem.

I agree though with other comments that our team on Saturday had a reasonable balance, defending very well and being a threat on the break (bar the fact we just cannot shoot on target - my biggest concern). However, I suspect Snoddy will start at West Ham if he's fit.

Admirably clear in the end! And incidentally, it puts to bed the claims that Saturday's point "will mean nothing if we don't win on Tuesday". <ok>

It is ok to complicate, it's your perogative.

Just like it's mine to lose interest half way through and not bother reading the whole thing.

I hope you're wrong, because while Snodders is our best attacking player in terms of chances created, I just feel that (for all his shortcomings) Redmond's pace pushes the opposition deeper, giving us much more space and time

As a fan of Sir Humphrey Appleby, I really enjoyed this! <ok>

I'd say your right there, mainly because he scored against them last time, was a great goal from a free kick.

I would quite like us to start with the same starting 11 as we had on Sat, but agree that Snoddy will probably start if fit.
