You said he never played again. That's simply not true. Was a shocking tackle though. Keano is borderline certifiable.

Don't think Fergie ever wore a short with Keano's picture on though.

    Also from Wikipedia

If Haaland had kept quiet he could have sued Keano for millions!

I know, it was a little wummery to make a point <ok>

Fergie never actually saw it....he never did......and he and all Utd fans loved his ferocity....something you still miss today. You see, we all have our crosses to bare <ok>

Making an incorrect statement doesn't help make your point, it undermines it.

The guy was an animal. pretty unpleasant to every football fan other than Utd's. He still is. That said, it's amusing to watch his rants at Fergy......

I could pretty much say anything and you'd still struggle to justify Keane, that tackle and countless others.

You'd struggle to find me justifying that tackle so yes you can pretty much say anything you want. Perhaps you should say it to yourself though!

Keano was an animal. He was also a ****ing fantastic footballer. Best box to box midfielder the PL has seen. Vieira probably still has nightmares about meeting him in the Highbury tunnel!

<doh> Let's get back on topic. I think it's clear that Evans has spat and Utd fans should not condone that, should they?

I don't think many have. I know you're desperate to equate this incident to the various misdemeanors of Suarez but the difference is that the majority of United fans haven't supported Evans whereas the majority of Liverpool fans blamed everyone other than Suarez for what he did, which was quite frankly shameful and embarrassing.

    Ah, what a surprise.

Controversy around a Utd player ends in Liverpool fans bringing up Suarez and Keane.

Who could have predicted that, eh?

<laugh> Erm....perhaps you just need to read some of your fellow fans' views on Evans..... I think you'll find that they brought Suarez into the equation.....just saying <ok>

I think you will find that no one will condone any spitting at another player. Whether it is a United player or not, if found guilty he deserves to be punished. No one here will declare that there is a conspiracy or wear T shirts or chant his name etc etc.

A certain club declared their allegiance to a racist who was found guilty by an independent panel and even then they and some of their ******ed fans declared that he had their full support <doh> . Until the owners got fed up with the reputational damage being done to the club and being associated with racists and sacked the manager.

    1) IF HE IS GUILTY?? Do you not see the same TV pictures as me? Have you not heard LvG's comments after he admitted that he hadn't seen the footage? Denial maybe?
    2) How are the two incidents connected other than by people on here looking to deflect attention away from their own players vile act?

At the time he hadn't seen the footage. He did spit but was it AT the player or to the ground? What was his intention? If he spat at the player he should be punished. If he didn't then no. The club will accpet the verdict and any punishment.

Not like the RS who even an independent panel found the rat guilty of racism the manager was considering an appeal and dragged the club through mud.

    Nope.

Shteve brought Dalglish and LFC into the discussion as a piss take. It was you who jumped on the "It was Evra's word against Suarez <wah><wah><wah>" bandwagon.

You should be kicking yourself, but you'd have to extract it from your mouth first <ok>

Again. The pictures are very clear. He spat right at him. Why would you spit on the ground right next to him. You'd turn your head surely? How can you take this stance and then ridicule other incidents? He did it. It's clear.....at least admit that in all honesty, it doesn't look good at all <doh>

Again, any other incident is not related to this.
