Seems Freeman is looking a bit sharp at the moment, as are the bulk of the rest.

Anyone new coming in will pick up the vibe. Just hope he doesn't change things around too much - but maybe i should just shut up and let The Boss do his stuff…

Just like to add that I wrote this back in July, before water started flowing under that bridge :-(

On the face of it, Kodjia is a weird signing, but I can definitely see him doing a good job at this level.

The idea of Bristol City scouting in France for potential transfer targets is an exciting one. I've always believed that lower league teams don't utilise foreign leagues as much as they should, given the premium on English talent now prevalent in the Championship.

So now we have seen him for 90 minutes can we all agree that he is very one-footed?

Is he the kind of guy who needs 3 chances to score 1? Let's reserve judgement on that for a bit longer.

That said I was impressed with his pace/movement - thought our front 2 were a real handful before the sending off.

The problem with signing someone from outside of England is that they need time to get used to playing in this country. Kodjia is no exception to that, and I reckon over the next 3-4 games we'll see him get better and better.

I thought he gave their back 4 a real test Saturday - gives us more pace up front than we had last season

I heard that there's a language barrier, to the extent he couldn't find his way to the ground so hopefully when he picks up the Brizzle lingo he will be all guns blazing

I was impressed by his constant movement, which created space for others or himself
