Last Saturday the WO came up with this:

Watford have completed their second capture from Aston Villa in the space of as many days, signing Jonathan Hogg for what we understand is an initial £300,000 fee.

Not very impressed with him down at Fratton. Small, gets booked a lot, likes going sideways or backwards. That's about it really.

On the evidence of today more mobile than Jenkins and a better distributer of the ball too. Prone to the occasional rash tackle but good positional sense and not easily drawn out of position. Paul Scholes he's not...but few Championship sides can afford outstandingly creative midfielders these days.
