Is this guy really worth it?
If not who else would you like to see fill the gap in our midfield (and hopefully kick harper out)?

I really rate Greening and I think so do most other City fans. O.K he's getting on a bit at 32 but with a wealth of Championship and Premier League experience he would be an ideal replacement for Ashbee. Good tackler, composed passer and pretty quick

Top signing if we get him. Agree with K-B goals in him as well. Ashbees strike rate was hardly impressive

Ash got 12 in 264 appearances for us, Greening made over 200 apps for West Brom but only got 9 goals I think. Not knocking Ashbee becasue I'm gutted he's leaving, but Greening is a far more complete midfielder. Pearson needs to pull his finger out though - only 4 hours left

Great signing if it comes off. Got two years (at least in him) and adds a bit of maturaty to what is becoming a very young and inexperienced team

He would certainly add a bit of experience in terms of playing good football to get promoted.
