Could play up top but undoubtedly had his best spell here out wide, though does he have the pace to play there now? What it will hopefully bring us is someone attacking the ball in the box. I'd play him wide right with Edwards on the left.
Just laughable. Agree 100% Yorkie. We've paid a loan fee, plus a %%% of the wages. Hurst's said he was injured the week, trained the Friday - however for a manager who mentions about fitness being so important, I'm amazed Hurst played Walters as sub. Sure, it's a bit of bad luck - I'll give Hurst that - just seems a little out of kilter with the drum he's banging about fitness to me!
Is that a guarantee though? I would imagine that Burnley would like to get him back up there and treat him with their own staff and facilities, after all he is still their player.
They will, but we will still be paying the %%%% agree at the start of the loan, unfortunately. They don't have clauses in them that if WE injure him, then Burnley pay the %%%. Absolute waste of £££. Laughable.
That is true, yes. No more 'which loanee does Hurst leave out this week' game. Mind you, Donacien has so far been RB / CB / LWB / sub + outside the 18 so god knows what will happen with him this week.
They will but we will still have to pay the same portion of his wages that are in the contract. We may have insurance, but unlikely for an old crocked player because the premium would be ridiculous.
The only way we won't be paying, is if the loan gets terminated. If you were Burnley, why would you agree to a termination right now? You wouldn't. We're stuck paying. Sums this season up.
And with that kiss of death, poor Jonny hobbles off after a couple of games in that horrible Magical Vegas Town shirt. Hope he recovers, but I really don’t think he should have been on that pitch Saturday. Fair enough Hurst gambled, because we didn’t really have many attacking options to fall back on. I stand by that if he avoided that injury, he would have scored goals here, but all ifs and buts now. Players here have to step up now.
