Was my favourite spurs manager ever and am sure he will get a great reception at the lane!!!
 
I'm so pleased he is back in the PL! By far my favourite Spurs manager, who can forget him bear-hugging poor little Chris Hughton everytime we scored <laugh>

Agree with the above sentiments.

BMJ was/is a fan favourite at Spurs.

Great to see him back in England.
 
MJ is too good for Fulham,he should be at a much bigger club but I wish him well all the same. I bet he was laughing at levy's blunder at hiring Ramos.
 
His reception at WHL could actually be more than a little embarrassing for Levy and Redknapp.

I wish him well and we've almost done him an immediate favour by getting them into the Europa League, via the back door! <laugh>
Not long to sort out his side for it, but it could be a very good way for him to assess the depth of the squad and test some of the youngsters.

Didn't Stephen Kelly and Simon Davies play under him at Spurs, too?
 
No, neither could we! <laugh>

The story goes that Levy was put off him by the poisonous whisperings of Damien Comolli, who had a number of disagreements with him over signings.
Jol wasn't concerned about the quality of the players being brought in, but by the positions that they were filling.
If we needed a left-back, for instance, then he'd go out and sign a very good right winger.

It all started to go a bit wrong after Arnesen left, who initially recommended Jol, if I remember right.
 
To be honest it wasn't just Levy, a lot of Spurs fans had started coming to the conclusion that he wasn't good enough to take us further than he already had.

Whilst we all still loved him, most that I spoke to always seemed to feel that way and that the Ramos/Poyet combination was the future for us. I always backed him myself but the same fans have now started to turn on 'Arry in the same way.

You cannot blame Jol for what happened in his last season. He was beaten by the politics. Can you imagine how well he'd do at the Lane, now that we've got rid of the director of football!
 
Good to see him back in English football. He was a very good manager for us, and hope to see him do a good job at Fulham, as the guy did great things for us, he deserves success
 
Jol was an inexperienced manager when he was at Spurs, he had a director of football undermining him and still produced two top 5 finishes. Since then he has gained a lot more experience, it will be interesting to see what he does at Fulham.

Maybe one day he will return to Spurs to finish what he started.
