    I do.

Well come on man. You come on here and ask whether Skybet has any weird hidden charges, then you winge about being 'careful with your money', then you mention that you've set a £100 a month (£1200 a year) deposit limit, and then when I ask why, you say that you won't bet that much and you know when to say no.

And THEN you erroneously correct someone when they correctly mention a bet, and prove that you don't know jack **** about gambling, yet you're willing to fork out what could be a reasonably large sum.

None of it makes any sense man.

On the subject of David Haye, my mate offered me 4/1 on Haye winning by points after he watched the first round of his fight vs. Valuev, which valuel won. I stick 40 imaginary pounds on it and he ended up giving me his brand new Xbox Elite console + £90 <ok> for absolutely nothing.

I might have money on another points victory for Haye vs. Wladimir

<laugh> ****ing hell, your mate is either a few sandwiches short of a picnic, or he is absolutely loaded and money is no object to him.

Got a feeling Klitschko is going to win on saturday. Odds are very good either way, mind!

  5. Just put a bet on - Wigan to be bottom of the table after 3 games. 33/1 - I bet 4.50 and if i win i get around 150 quid.

They have the 3 promoted teams first 3 games, and i have a feeling they may not get more than a point. Newly promoted teams can do some damage when first coming up.

I've managed to avoid getting sucked into gambling fortunately. The odd fluter on the world cup or the grand national but never more than a tenner. The odds are so stacked against you long term only the bookies can win.

Same with cards. I have developed a fascination with poker but am deliberately avoiding it because I worry that i'll be out of control if I ever start it online! ;)

  7. I'll never start anything to do with cards and gambling in the same sentence.

It's just the odd bet i'll be doing.

Very sensible Tash! In moderation it can be fun like you say. Add a bit of extra spice to a game you are watching or whatever but no more than that.

  9. I'll be tempted to put a 6-0 bet on vs Sunderland ;)

Hmm ... well i'd be cheering that result on if you did for obvious reasons. Wouldn't spend too long working out what you'll spend the winnings on though :)

Getting on the property ladder eh!? So glad those days are behind me that can be a bit soul destroying. Still hopefully the prices will stay still for a while what with the economic climate so you can get somewhere with it. Nothing worse than knowing you have lived like a pauper all year and saved all you can but the property prices have gone up more than you have saved so you are no closer than when you started. :(

As a general rule, I try and dissuade people from gambling as I work in the industry and see what it can do to people.

It does make football a little bit more exciting though. I got a good win once (£2 12 team accumulator) and I was buzzing for days. But that's what suckers you in...

  14. I know mate. Sometimes i fear i may be moving out too soon, sometimes i fear i'll be staying in my parents house until i'm 30... unless i get a girlfriend that buys a flat with me, but i don't think there'll be many people bothering putting a bet on a girl ever falling for a bloke with a mug like mine rofl. :D

Rubbish man, its all about personality and confidence. Looks help but they aren't everything. :) Although as I am single again I guess i'm not the best to be giving advice on relationships ;)

Can be hard getting on the ladder. To be honest if it wasn't for inheriting some money I would probably never have made it. Property is so expensive here. What can you get a 2 bedroom flat for in Newcastle?

Yeah I guess you remember the odd win and forget all the losses. And don't realise just how much you are down overall even after that win!

  17. Hopefully if i'm buying a flat with a girl i won't need 2 bedrooms... (not so very subtle sexual suggestion) :D

Try and post an ad in the newspaper , specifically looking for a deal which includes 1 girl 1 bedroom.

No not at all <laugh> I've currently got a 2 bedroom apartment so its just that i've got a better idea of the prices of those in my area for comparison.

Still the spare room is useful. Incase you have a guest over or you have an argument and get kicked out of bed of course. Not that the later ever happened to me of course <whistle>
