Birmingham, Huddersfield and Rotherham today joined Stockport County , Wrexham and Mansfield in league 1 next season. Three fairly wealthy and well supported teams drop down from the championship, with Wrexham not being short of a bob or two coming up. I predict another long hard and disappointing season coming up with Evans now being chased by Pompey

The 6 clubs so far that will be joining us makes next season a lot tougher. I won't be surprised if the 3 promoted sides finish above us. Who do you think will join us from the L2 play offs?

MK Dons I suspect hope it's not Donny with Marquis tipped to join them, there is enough of our ex players to cause problems as it is

It’s certainly going to be a tougher league next season. We’ll probably lose our best player Evans to Pompey so we really need to strengthen to avoid a relegation battle. If we don’t get recruitment right (again) and we start the season badly I think Taylor will be gone by October.

From the Championship, we've gained Rotherham, Huddersfield and Birmingham

From League 2, we've gained Stockport, Wrexham and Mansfield. In the play off final its Crewe vs Crawley.

Gained:
Rotherham
Huddersfield
Birmingham
Stockport
Wrexham
Mansfield
And one from Crewe, Crawley or MK Dons.

Lost:
Portsmouth
Derby
Oxford.
Cheltenham
Fleetwood
Port Vale
Carlisle

It is apity that being so pessemistic is so popular.
Try to be more upbeat, what succesor could there be, and with current manager signed on 4 ? year contract he will be assured of at least time to make progress. There are very few clubs in div 1 or 2 that have popular managers and even Peterborough unless thay go up may well have change if next season sees no progress.
I think that I will for now keep quiet as next season develops
Up the Rovers

I think the reasons for pessimism are justified by the mediocre performances under Taylor, including that excruciating run of seven games without scoring.

However, a new season brings a clean slate and I hope that our recruitment will be sufficient for a competitive tilt at the top half of the table. If the team gives the supporters something to get behind then the good times will return to the Mem and we’ll be a lot less grumbly!

Up the Gas!

Going to be even harder looking at some of the teams Huddersfield, Birmingham and Wrexham and Bristol Rovers Leavers in Mansfield eleven
