Terry admitted to calling Anton a Black **** he is therefore Guilty of Racism he'd just called Anton a **** he wouldn't have been Living in Scotland if someone called me an English **** in work they would be disciplined and I could and would get them charged with racially aggravated abuse. End of Argument.
Can I just add what kind of message does the not Guilty verdict send out to society. Does this men that some little BNP/EDL **** racially abuse some one in the street and then go sorry I'm not racist. It gets my goat and makes a bloody mockery of our system. As to those who say it should never have come to court racism needs to be stamped out at all costs.
I also firmly believe that racism needs to be stamped out...However, what gave Anton the right to taunt and abuse Terry with some very hurtful remarks regarding his personnal life...Two wrongs don't make a right though..
I don't get how the magistrate can say there is lots of evidence to say John Terry is not a racist? He probably isn't however that has **** all to do with if he was racist in this incident. Does that mean I can make a racist comment at anytime with the "I have a black friend" defence? Terry paid tens of thousands of pounds to avoid a £2500 maximum fine, yes you could argue he has saved his sponsership deals etc, but would you sponser him? Sadlt the world to day in terms of words loves to use a big bat to crack a nut! Terry would be punnished more than a wife beater or someone who had assaulted a stranger, fact. He would have to have been made an example of. I hear people saying well sticks and stones etc, however you have to remember that black people have been very badly and inexcusably abused by white people over the centuries. Slaves, servants, no vote, abuse. Yes the white man has had all this too but Black people have been treated appallingly. Do we get the race card played yes we do! However not in the majority of cases. As for the fat verus Black insult tash you are missing the point entirely! You get called a fat bastard becasue people use the word fat to insult you. So when you are called a black bastard people are using the fact you are black to insult you. You can be fat in any colour you choose but you can't choose your colour, hope this helps....
How can a white man have no rights, for instance being called ` a white bastard ` is not classed as racist. need I expand on this?
Trial cost more than the fine, Taxpayers money. both accused and accuser, should shoulder some of the costs. IMO Terry did well. still a white **** though, I cant get done for racism, cos Im white, and he is white, unless he fesses up to having a different blood /colour group.
Just to say, I'm overweight. I am aware I am responsible for this. If someone calls me a fat **** it is the second word that offends me, the first I know is something I am working on. That said, I don't think he was calling him a **** because he is black, just that he is a **** who happens to be black. Terry's still a scumbag but there is a difference between referring to the colour of someone's skin and a racially motivated comment.
He was found not guilty...end of for me.... Lot's of players have been found not guilty for far worse things, just think Terry is getting grief because of people's dis-like for him.... Others not guilty... Stevie G.................i didn't smack that lad in the pub honest... Titus.......................i never shagged that bird, it was just my brither, m'lord. Titus...................i only gave her a lift in the taxi, as i wanted to make sure she got home ok.... And so on.
John Terry and Anton Ferdinand could each face disrepute charges from the Football Association when it assesses the evidence that was disclosed during the court trial that found the Chelsea captain not guilty of racially abusing the Queens Park Rangers defender last October. The FA's brief differs to that of the legal process in that it has responsibility for the day-to-day disciplinary process regarding players. The ruling body will now resume the investigation being pursued following the incident, which was halted when the Terry-Ferdinand case became a matter for Westminster magistrates' court. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/jul/13/john-terry-may-face-fa-charges
Actually it is a racist moment if said by someone of a different colour to you and they can be done for it.
Surely it's impossible for both players not to be charged by the FA with disrepute charges - on the admission by both of using vile language - which, especially after the court decision, has done nothing to enhance the reputation of football.
The court has found him not guilty that should be the end of it whether you agree with that verdict or not, both admitted using the language that we all hear at the game and while the game is televised. So do they start banning and fining every single player on the pitch now? then do they start ejecting 50% of the fans who us the same language, big **** off can of worms to be opened and if the FA idiots decide to punish both players where do they stop?
