I find it really difficult to disagree with any of that if I'm honest. (Apart from R Ferdinand "racially abusing" Cole. Rio Ferdinand is a knob-end but racist abuse it was not. Time for everyone to grow a pair and stop acting like offended little girls.)
I do not think Rio or Anton is racist, to be honest I do not think Terry or Cole are, I just think they are all stupid, decent to good footballers but stupid. Oh and I think the Chelsea ones are more stupid
Are we gonna have this bollox every year for the next umpteen f***** years . I'm sure John Terry isn't racist....... just an ignorant, stupid, scumbag, arrogant, prick who would be a drug dealer on some chavvy estate if he couldn't kick a football about ( not that he is THAT good at that anymore). I look forward to welcomining him back to LR on Saturday
It has racial connotations, but it isn't racist itself. However the message it sends out to young black males is dangerous, especially coming from somoene of Rio's position, I'm of the opinion Rio shouldn't have got charged but heck I can't stand the guy so I'm glad.
Hello DL, the acceptable face of CFC! Bored of the whole thing to tell the truth, I just want the 3 points
If Anton plays (which is doubtful) he should take the moral high ground, shake Terry's hand, that would say I've moved on lets all do it.
Question is, will Terry shake HIS hand? He could feel even more aggrieved seeing as he was found not guilty of the offence. The pair of them should just cop on.
Dont play Ferdinand simply cos he is useless. Dont have the pre-match handshake nonsense and lets just all look forward to the actual game and beating Chelsea!!!!
If Anton offers his hand and Terry refuses that will simply confirm what sort of person he is......but you're right they should simply cop on.
Now you're talkin' Llewellyn! Everyone's been jumping down Hill's throat but the weak link is Ferdy I'm afraid. You're right Tramore, they're a right pair of plonkers.
This should not be an issue. Anton ought to be our last choice CB and nowhere near the 11 or the Bench, and if MH had done what everyone saw was necessary and brought in 2 good CB's this summer, he wouldn't be in the squad.
Hey Northy Same, I'd be delighted with 3 points, would leave us in good stead ahead of the Juve and Stoke games. Virtually two entirely different teams from the ones that played last year, I don't think a point would be bad for either team to be honest
FBC said or not, Terry/Ferdinand playing or not, handshakes or not - wish all parties concerned would just move on and concentrate on the job at hand, which is getting 3 pts out of this match.
