I've heard the Cuducini one too. He's was brilliant at Chelsea, but I wonder about his appetite having been back up for so long now at both Chelsea and Spurs. Probably big wages, too.

I'd definitely be starting with Ruddy, don't think we're looking for a new number 1, just an experiened, solid and still hungry keeper to push him for his place. Also, as has been said, someone who'd be prepared to accept a one year deal.
 
Just had a quick look on Wiki (so it must be right) and Carroll is currently without a club. Sounds like he had a pretty bad 2011 so far.

"Carroll left Odense BK in February 2011, following the signing of Stefan Wessels, and is currently a free agent looking for a new club.

Carroll was on trial at Sheffield United. However, he conceded two goals within ten minutes and was sent off, which led to a penalty during a reserve match against Barnsley. As a result of his poor performance whilst on trial, he was not offered a contract with the Blades.[27] Carroll later joined League Two strugglers Barnet on a trial with a view to a role as player-coach.[28]"
 
Carroll is an awful shout lol, sorry but the guy is useless.

Hahnemann isn't a bad shout to be fair, especially now he has been released.

However Keiron Westwood is also out of contract at Coventry. Great competition for Ruddy?
 
why would Hahnemann wanna come to us? He spent the whole of last season playing second fiddle to hennessey. If i were him i'd be looking for first team football. At his age he's not got many years left. I'd wanna go out with a bang playing week in week out. Not left on the bench to be forgotten about.
 
David Marshall always struck me as being a shot-stopper, not a proper goalkeeper, in that he didn't command his area as well as some others did. What he did, he did well, but I can think of a few occasions when I've felt he really should have claimed something, rather than waiting on the goal-line.
