I think he's had useful time as manager in Sweden or Norway with limited funds - passion and his connections here are all winners for me - we need more than just discipline - man management, tactical nous and desire I think he may be a good fit and not expensive
I grew up on Leuvensesteenweg and actually played for OHL youths before the club grew into the big club it is now. Suffice to say I know the place well. It's ****ing dull. The beer it produces is jupiler which is swill. Brussels is one thing. Leuven is another.
Seriously I am a bit querky but I really do get Seasick - but always a Sunderland fan with no meaningful oversea journeys - YET
PDC identified the problem here and was crucified for doing so as he was too open with many of his views - he would have been a revelation here if he was given a bit longer
Yes, Jupiler is awful. If you know Belgium then I'm sure you know the joke about it. Fair enough, there is only Jupiler, Stella, and Domus in Leuven itself but the surrounding area contains lots of good breweries in places like Neerijse, Tildonk and Holsbeek. If I was going to Belgium I wouldn't go to Brussels anyway, there are plenty of far nicer places.
