Never knew it was the kitman that chose the squad numbers! I know john so i need to have words.......robbie koren is a midfielder so shouldnt be number 10! (I have a thing about squad numbers indicating what position you play like they used to you see!)

There's also players asking for numbers, like he said about Mannone with 49 (should have registered kids with every number up to 49 instead of letting the FA/FL say no). Maybe Koren asked for the 10 to give a hint to Pearson to play him in the middle behind the main striker (like Maradonna?).
 
Very interesting read.

I was, however , reliably informed that the players thought that the amber shorts were minging.
