I understand he was not full time anymore anyway and was acting in a consultancy role..know the guy well and always City through and through - has come across with the lads in E1 etc as a bit over zealous though.. only speak as I see..

Apparently, John Cooper had an argument on the friday with one of the club secretarys called Kelly; slung his keys on the table and walked.
He then voluntarily came back for Tuesday otherwise the game couldn't have gone ahead.
