Its like waiting for an alcoholic to go off the rails again, its not if but when. The whole source of his problems is twatter, he puts that above his career which is a disgrace when you see what we are paying him.
Good analogy in a week when Gazza's been up before the beaks At least Barton's earning his money at the moment - long may it last
Good to see two new players score and get another win under are belts winning brings the players together
No we don't. We have to support our club but that does not extend to specifically cheering on this nutcase. I've written to the club to ask if a special section of the ground could be reserved for those who gave him a standing ovation when he was substituted on Saturday.
Another reason why Joey could be playing with a smile on his face is because everyone else in the team last night ran their nuts off to close down, to harry (no pun intended) and to create space, like he does. There were no mercanaries on the pitch unlike the previous couple of seasons. Austin never stopped and was dead on his feet at the end. Exeter (Ok it's only Exeter) never had the time to compete which shows how seriously the game was taken last night. What a change!
Agree, Devon. Big improvement in attitude, and a game against a lower league side tests it to the full
A new season is on lads ... Whoever wears the shirt from here on in is QPR and we have to believe. Once that window shuts only then will we know what is what Barton 2 good games is the only thing to focus on
So the team has a poor Attitude/work ethic, it's Harry's fault. The team now had great spirit, attitude, work ethic, it's down to Barton??? **** off!
Cannot for the life of me see how you can place your interpretation on a post that claims the team ran their nuts off, didn't behave like mercenaries, took the game seriously and our new striker was dead on his feet at the end!
From where I sat in the South Africa Road stand, it looked like most of the home crowd was up on its feet clapping him, including me. At my age, I have a very short memory and am grateful to anyone who can help my club. I'm hoping he behaves in future but can't say I'm confident. The management team have all praised him for his professionalism and, given his current situation, there's something in what they say.
Thanks Goldhawk... Think the interpretation should be ... somethings happened behind the scenes (right kind of players coming in, correct departures, change in players attitude) etc to make EVERYONE work hard. That's down to the owners/management/coaches and players. If that brings out a better attitude in Joey - Great. Should his attitude be good on £70k a week - of course it should. He appreciated and acknowledged the support he was getting from our end yesterday.
