I accept this is a strange one, but does anyone think big Joe could play DM well?
 
I think he's better at winning possession and passing than anything else.

Would anyone argue about that?
 
Hes good as a defensive minded winger, squad player at best.

If he poked in a goal now and again, like one every 5 games hed be fine

Yeah that's the thing I know it sounds crazy but he can and does win possesion alot and he can pass a bit..

He has scored 3 goals in his last 6 starts so there's signs he's now at the level he needs to be at.

I think Jones is probably a big reason behind the progress.

For a big guy, he gets knocked off the ball far too easily.
