    Charnley's in Holland wondering why he feels funny after eating one too many brownies. He'll have forgotten what he went there for by now and will be on his way back with a crate of Oranjeboom thinking it was a steal.

    Don't underestimate how these signing may positively impact on other targets and their willingness to come to us too.
    It's a statement of intent and a toon team on the up is still an attractive beast IMHO.

    Not directly related, but if Cocu can have his best (Depay) and arguably his second best players sold by the club, if he now goes on to retain the league title next season by recruiting well, he's as good as proven himself as a manager.

    He's got a hefty warchest to play with this summer and what seems like an endless pool of promising talent to spend it on in Holland.
