It looks a totally political move to me to get Pardew out, there is no footballing reason I and I will wager anyone else can see in appointing JFK into any position whatsoever nevermind Dof. MON proved to be a dinosaur but JFK is even more prehistoric, baffling

Yes, but why would Ashley make the mistake of giving him a long contract?
As a business man it doesn`t make sense. Ashley is not an idiot.
There`s something going on we`re all missing.

He's paying off a debt, i thought that was common knowledge?

could be a money injection from him, i think a fair few years back he might have had an impact , but as mon experienced the game has moved on a heck of a lot, but as they say never under estimate any body .

Yes but while he has that debt he`s not going to leave is he?
See why it makes no sense?
If he`s in debt, no matter what Ashley does, Pardew can`t leave. If he wants him out Ashley has to pay him off which would wipe out the debt? See the quandary?

I don`t understand where Ashley`s going with this.

Nobody understands, just sit back and enjoy the ride.

Just read on The Independent site that Fat Mike rates JFK as the best manager he has worked with, he must really hate Pardew

"My job is director of football. My job is to wind up the fans, players and manager

"I will not be picking the team or the tactics. I'll be standing in the dressing room, making a whistling noise and saying "I wouldn't play that daft ****er there, Alan"

"I will just ensure we have the best possible team I will ensure that as many of the first team as possible hand in transfer requests. **** me, did you see how much we could make on Cabaye?

"If the manager wants my advice on that I am sure he will ask me. The manager will get my advice, whether he asks for it or not

"And he says his stint at Newcastle the first time around will hold him in good stead They already hate me, so there's not going to be any time wasted. I can get right on with crushing peoples hopes and dreams. Then calling them

He said: "When I took over we were third bottom but I took them to 12th. Then lost about ten games in a row and had a heart attack when things started going tits up

"Then I had the heart attack at West Brom And our form taking a nose dive, and it becoming obvious to the world that I was a clueless nad-sack had absolutely nothing to do with that

"We would not have been relegated. We were ****ed, and to be honest, the heart attack was the best thing that could have happened to me

"We were million to one not to be relegated. It was nailed on that we were going down

"If I had been in charge we would not have been relegated. If I'd been in charge, we might actually have dropped down two or three divisions

"Kinnear indicated his new role will see him look at recruitment and bringing in new talent Kinnear's new role will involve him cleaning clagnuts out of Mike's arse crack, then watching Loose Women while occasionally yelling out the window to the manager, pointing out all the things he's doing wrong

He said:"Now I intend to make Newcastle better. I fully intend to see those Geordie bastards burn in hell

"I want to make them far better than they are now I want to see the ****ers implode, because Mike's worked out he can make more money turning the stadium into a car park and casino

"We want to sign the right players. We want to sell the right players. Well, all of them, actually

"There is no other agenda There is another agenda. The fact that I even bothered to point this out kind of proves it

"If some aren't good enough then we will move them out. Along with the ones that are good enough. I hear we might be able to get Sol Campbell back on a free transfer. And what happened to my mate Geremi?

"Kinnear also insisted he is the right man for the job

.He added:"I've got more knowledge than anyone at the football club As long as you only include Mike, Derek and Alan in the list

"That is not being disrespectful to anybody there. But they are a bunch of ****s and they can all **** themselves

"Kinnear also said the contract had been signed, sealed and delivered. Because now it's too late for you to complain about it

And says: "It is a done deal. And that one is just to rub it in

"My job will be to find players and improve the club My job will be to find people to buy our players, and the club will be much improved when its sponsored by NCP

Just heard his interview on SSN.

I would be seriously worried if I was a mag. This guy really is deluded. There's no way he can't step on Parsnips shoes.
