It's a funny old game. I've probably championed Pickford more than most on here, mate. The timing is what I'm thinking about though, we have to many kids at the moment that we are relying on. I'd like Pickford to start becoming a regular when we aren't at the bottom under big pressure. I'd like experienced players in at the moment to drag us away from the bottom. I still want Pickford to be our number 1, but I think he needs to wait until at least January and then see how we are doing then.
I wouldn't do that to Jordan, mate. I just don't know what he was trying to prove. Not sure why he brought Yedlin into it again, either. He's ended up in the Championship and he'll never play Premier league football again.
I'm with you on this one, I'm desperate for JP to become our No.1 but like I said on an earlier thread "throwing people in at the deep end isn't always the best policy" (Eg Love/McNair) It's all about giving the lad a chance without getting him too despondent, so what if he made a mistake; he will learn from it. However, another mistake and the lad starts feeling the pressure and before you know it his confidence will be shot. In my opinion we should bring in another keeper on loan to help mentor the lad and keep the pressure off him.
Fully understand 83 I'm just concerned we may lose Pickford. if he's benched again for someone else. I can accept another experienced goalie coming here just not Hart.

I was looking at Schwarzer as a back up to JP. btw Wiki states he's 74. I believe he would be demoralised if JP took his place.
How about Steve Harper -- safe pair of hands , known at club and am sure would give great goalkeeping tips -
