I know it is only rumours, but I defy any real Swansea fan not to be a little concerned by what is happening at the moment, No strikers at the club and we MAY lose our only 2 sources of goals we had last season. Well I suppose at least the clubs will have a big bank account when we are in the Championship.
£30m - £50m on players in the premiership is very small today. Palace spent £32m on a striker because they needed one .....Jenkins is looking for the same standard of player for £32 and then he would want a rebate if he dont score 10 goals a season......you get what you pay for and that has been true since bony left...
I'm not concerned at all, and I'm a real fan I think! The thing I don't do are rumours and speculation, believing the crap in the newspapers and press is not what I think about.
Yes they are rumours, but would guess that a lot of these top football journos, do get that much wrong, it is very easy to bury head in the sand and just say everything will be ok and maybe you will be right and it will. But, the signs and lack of anything coming out of the club is worrying, Guidolin himself has muted at the possible loss of Ayew.
Lets face it Ayew and Siggy are prime targets and the club are guaranteed to get bids - the acid test is how we react to them. My view is we need to keep both of these players so lets see what happens, until then its pure speculation.

Palace made a £35M bid for michy batshuayi but he refused to move to them according to the press. Hopefully his move to Chelsea will mean that Remy is avaliable.
Absolutely, and if we didn't get offers for players we'd be doing something wrong as a club. Offers doesn't mean they are leaving, like Stoke's offer for Ki earlier this month
there is an obvious difference to stoke bidding for our players than Chelsea,Man city,Everton and Napoli....

Yes if they bid they pay more! They are no different to our club than smaller clubs, they offer the money we want and providing the player goes for it then it may happen. But take a look at what happens to decent players when they go to large teams, they become bench warmers for the most part like, Bony, Sinclair, Siggy and numerous others. If a player wants games then they will more than likely get it with us. If they want to stall their careers but earn money then the Man City's of the world maybe for thenm
They offered £25m for Benteke which was rejected, Liverpool want £33m for him which is madness considering he only got 10 goals in 42 games. Whoever pays that kind of money has got to be as insane as Liverpool who paid that kind of money. If the Swans offered that kind of money for him I'd be really pissed at them

Distraction leads to loss of focus, and we have had too much distraction in the boardroom this last season, between Martin Morgan's antics and the sale of Directors shares to make a killing, it has left us dazed and we are definitely drifting. After missing the boat for Joe as a perfect replacement for Leon, I'm not that reassured regarding our front line, I have come to the conclusion that we will buy another Poloschi, or something similar, I doubt very much we will land Bony, and our boardroom have merely played lip service to the fans, looking like it will be another long hard season...........
