Liverpool can only put a bid in for a swansea player if swansea have accepted a bid from another club, they can not directly bid or enquire for a swansea player unless another bid from another club has been accepted by swansea for said player, liverpool then get the chance to top it. do you get it now

But it's pointless because clearly we have enquired. And Swansea have said they'd listen if it was suitable for them. So in theory what they are saying is, don't bid for our players, but if you want one, it's going to cost you - pretty much like every other transfer in the history of football.
Evening folks! I think these little signings are great! Add the style of Allen to Lucas, Shelvey and Suso etc when they finally break through the ranks and we have one hell of a team. If you want to compare anyone to Alonso then I think it has to be Suso. He dips his head up and picks a pass off few others can manager! We have some great players coming through the ranks and just need to be patient!

That's because I don't think United have a better midfield than us. I didn't include Barry but even without him still think those 5 are better than ours. Wingers are midfielders... but even so Hazard/Johnson are the only wingers in that list and even without them, think those 3 teams still have a better midfield. Don't get me wrong, not saying ours is bad, but only Lucas & Gerrard would get into those others right now. Henderson shelvey have the potential and Aquilani possibly, we'd need to see how he performs over a season.
Agreed, and I think Henderson, Shelvey will become good players and who knows how Aquilani plays. If he stays, and it's a big if, and plays to his potential, along with Lucas it will be like having 2 new signings. My point was on your "don't see many better than that" comment as I personally think that's probably our weakest part of the team now. Agree, defence is very good, especially with Coates & Kelly as backup, and up front we are looking better, especially if Carroll can keep up the good form.
