You don't know? Well no one on here knows either because as far as i'm aware none of the people who made that decision post on here. I may be wrong though.

Here's an idea, why not write to Celtic FC and ask them, im sure if you use CAPITAL LETTERS and a green crayon from your box they will get straight back to you with your answer - which is probably the same as everyone else, ie They don't know.

Be sure and let us know how you get on.


ps Is Walter getting a seat on the board at the end of the season? Did Jock Wallace get a seat on the Rangers board?

I have no doubt it is however you said "BUT" it had nothing to do with sectarianism" unprompted by me?

I never suggested that was the case, never even hinted at it, I merely pointed out that great club servants don't always get appointed to the board of the clubs they served with distinction, Jock Wallace won you the Cup WInners Cup, your Club's greatest triumph, so I simply asked why he was not given a seat on the board. YOU brought sectarianism into it. So please, go on, you obviously "Think" you know something, you know why Stein never got on the board and it had something to do with his religion.

That's patently obvious, even someone as stupid as you can realise you slipped up, (it was only amatter of time) so go on, tell us what you think you know and how you know it.

The answer is very simple.

The Whites, Kelly's and Farrells were the main power behind the club. They were constantly at each other's throats, trying to get the upper hand. Jock Stein knew this and would not have had anything to do with any of them.

If Jock Stein was given a seat on the board, with the job he had done for the club, with the respect he had from the supporters and with the clout he would have had as a man, he was a threat to the in-fighting arses that ran the club. So there was no way that they would have given him a position where they could challenge their authority.

There you go. Plain, simple (like yourself) and non-conspiritorial (unlike yourself)
