Please will someone spell Jimmy Saviles's name correctly, I'm not a pedant but I am linked to the Saville's with double L, and his isn't. I don't want to be too close to him.
Just stole that and told my flatmate, he didn't know who Jeremy Beadle was. He now knows him as "Jeremy Beadle: *****". This is gonna take a lot of explaining. Cheers for that.
What did he used to do on a Saturday night when he was little? Go out and play when You've Been Framed or Beadles About were on? Weirdo.

A BBC documentray has released some photos of 3 women Jimmy Savile is said to have abused in the 1970s. Each woman had a photo from the present day and one from back in the 70s. The caption below read 'Now then. Now then. Now then'.

Im enjoying seeing the YEP and local Wessie TV news squirm over the issue. As the allegations broke (when I started this thread) they were vitriolic in their anger and how dare these people slight 'Our Jimmy the national treasure and proud Loiner' when he isnt here to defend himself. Now as each day passes it really pains them to admit they were so catastrophically wrong. Just to clarify, Im not enjoying the issue itself, obviously, just the change in stance from local news who could see no wrong in him and were furious at what they saw as national tabloid muckslinging against a sweet, defenceless man.
a few at work were saying the same thing - 'he's dead, he can't defend himself. They should have kept quiet' - The last few days the same people have gone quiet on the subject.

.. you can't defend the indefensible .. no schadenfreude here .. I find it extremely sad that he was not some sort of eccentric, benevolent philantrhopist motivated by charitable intent ... instead we now see a scheming, corrupt, decrepit old perv using his 'charitable work' as a front for his unnatural, deplorable, tendencies ... I'm not vindictive by nature but I certainly hope he is not 'resting in peace' ... and I hope any of his like minded buddies who are still living are brought to book accordingly ...
