Following On From the death of Ian St. John, we now say goodbye to his TV partner in crime Jimmy Greaves, my boyhood hero! I used to have the football annuals and this fella was always featured, still remember the overhead kick goal on his debut against Blackpool in a 5-2 win! Always uniquely scored on his debuts! A fine feotballer, with his own demons, what a goalscorer he was! :emoticon-0103-cool:

We agree on something. Greavesie was my hero too.

Best ever English striker. Saw him several times at WHL. And he scored on my debut there v Sheffield United.

RIP Jimmy, one of the true greats.
