I can afford Sky (get in there!) and am considering getting it soon. A couple of dodgy scousers came into my flat a couple of weeks ago to upgrade my aerial and some such other ****. So now I can apparently ring up Sky and order membership and, basically, plug into some massive dish on the roof of the block. I presume it's something like that anyway... I'd only geddit for football though, owt else decent will be on terrestrial. IMO.
Everyone can afford sky, even those who claim they can barely afford food..... But yeah, nowhere near worth the money it costs, only the sports are really interesting and a couple of good programmes a year.
So anyone heard any news of which club is looking to sign Bullard - assuming he is as good as his agent TWF says, I look forward to seeing him playing for one of the PL clubs (Tongue firmly in cheek for the whole comment).
my prediction - a) dagenham for football/wandering around the pitch with shirt on; b) somewhere in East London for hitting a little white ball into a small hole, then repeating 17 times; and c) Essex for sticking a metal hook in to a harmless animal's mouth and calling it sport. Oh and also the local ice-cream van for what ever powder based products they may blend with milk (or whatever) to make make a cone full of goodness.
Don't be surprised if Bullard still gets a Premier League gig, I hear Reading might offer him a deal.
I wouldn't waste my time on Sky whilst i live in Hull, much rather get the whole package with phone, internet plus the TV, Unless KC go into financial meltdown and cease existence allowing the people of Hull to choose and not be made to pay stupid amounts for **** internet. Although i do think 80% of the channels are bollocks the decent 20% is on Freeview anyway.
