Atsu simply not Premiership standard.
Perez... apart from the goal did very little.

Aside from the obvious (we're an extremely limited team talent wise), some lads need to have a good look at themselves.

Manquillo continues to defy logic in that he gets paid to play football for a living.

Lascelles' performance doesn't surprise me. Tbh he has played like a bellend ever since there's been talk of a big money move. I suspect it's gone to his head.

Rafa has called for VAR but it wouldn't have changed anything today. Yedlin deserved red and I didn't think the Perez incident was a peno.

 

Joke of a referee. Yedlin made a bad mistake but Dean’s was even worse. The Wolves player was outside the corner of the box with Lascelles coming across. How is that a clear cut goal scoring opportunity? They were in similar positions 3 other times during the game and didn’t score once. In fairness they did hit the bar once and Dubgoalie had to save the other two. Joke of a decision by a joke of a referee.

Perez got flattened by an elbow in their box and the Joker didn’t see it even though they were competing for the ball. Have read that the Idiot of a referee told Perez that it was the ball that hit him in the face!!! He’s looking at the incident and he sees a ball not an elbow??? How is he a professional referee? Should have been red card and penalty and likely a goal. Only minutes from the end and good prospect of three points. Another joke of a decision by a joke of a referee.

We were edging the game 11 v 11 and for me would likely have won if we hadn’t got an incompetent referee. Yes it’s football and yes you can’t expect a referee to get all decisions right but the Perez one in particular was a no brainier and as Dean has no brains you would have expected that even that useless moron (apologies to all morons) would have got that right...but no, he couldn’t.

Agree. If a referee can’t tell the difference between a ball and an elbow VAR isn’t going to make a blind bit of difference to his incompetent decisions.

Yedlin made a mistake but it was never a sending off, whereas the Perez incident was a definite red card and a penalty.

I think when you pull somebodies shirt so cynically you should deserve a red, no matter where you are on the pitch. But as that is not the rules he shouldn't have been sent off. But in my eyes he deserved it. Maybe on this occasion the ref thought so too. Hate shirt pulling. Blatent cheating. Nasty elbow mind, not 100% clear whether he meant it but it should have been a pen, but to be fair to the ref, the ball hit him in the face too.

Seriously if we lose the next 2 were guaranteed to lose against Liverpool and then we'll be in the bottom 3 we'll sign nobody , the club will release a statement saying Ashley is staying, rafa will quit, the fans will revolt and we'll get relegated.
