Must admit I thought he looked awful when he played for us. Having said that, new country and all that, was barely given a chance. From the (very) little I've seen of him at Augsburg (this is purely youtube clips mind), he seems to have improved a hell of a lot. I'd give him a chance at the very least. Try him on the left wing? He seems pretty comfortable there and can't be any worse than McClean?
I watched him a few times for the reserves and he still never stood out, so I would be sceptical of whether he could improve enough to make the grade at the top level.
I agree, all I can say about the little fella is I can remember THAT goal against Man City & that it is up there with Porterfield's, so yes give him a chance, PDC might be the one to make him the player I think he can be, world class
