I don't necessarily want to carry on this particular argument. I have already said that when the specifics are examined (census, application, recruitment forms), the races are put in several categories. The Rooney rules requested that a coach from a 'minority' group be short listed. In the US it meant some one who was not white. Hence when the journos or anyone else lazily refer to 'black' when referring to these rules, they should really be saying non-white or minority group.
