Funds available for Cotts to sign a "goal scoring striker" http://www.bristolpost.co.uk/Bristol-City-market-goalscorer/story-26438767-detail/story.html
No big surprise with JET. His "razmatazz" moments will be missed as he was truly a showman but in all honesty we're going to need players with better engines in the Championship. I wish him well as he was fun to watch.
All the best ones are....Let's hope we can get some real class in. We ought to be a reasonably attractive proposition for a lot of players at the moment.
He's been offered a job, he has not accepted.... "He would be an excellent addition to my staff, as someone who knows me. He's got all the credentials to be a good, young coach. "There is no time frame. He will have other offers to carry on playing. I don't want to finish his career prematurely if he still wants to play." http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32592151
Hope Wade stays as under 21 coach, I know it will mean calling time on his playing career. Hopefully he can install his professionalism into our young players and show them how to conduct themselves just like we've seen with Massives father and Oskar.
He's had a good season despite being injured for part of it. He was really poor against Colchester when it mattered on Sunday though and obviously he's unproven at the next level. But so was Freddie Sears and he's done amazingly well.
When we step up to the championship, and the opposition is more canny and can work out our tactics, and unlike this season when we enjoyed a plethora of goals, in tight games where we are struggling to create chances, and are going to be many, someone of JET's ability would be invaluable. I know that the horse has already bolted but can't help feeling that JET's departure is a mistake.

Although I will miss JET, I do understand the reasons why we may be willing to let him go. He's definitely got that spark to create something out of nothing, which makes him an invaluable option from the bench, however he's almost certainly on too much money to justify being a bit-part player, such as he's largely been this season. Although his laid-back style is perhaps too often harshly criticised (look at similar top players like Dimitar Berbatov), it would seem as though in our current setup we generally do better with more mobile players. Wouldn't be surprised to see him rock up at a Championship club (rumours of Charlton I believe), and he'll get a well-deserved, good reception when he comes back to Ashton Gate, and I definitely wouldn't be surprised to see him score against us... Learning from past mistakes of having a bloated and expensive squad, this kind of hard decision should probably be applauded and it'll be very interesting to see who we get in over the summer. Can't help but be very optimistic for the forthcoming season and think with the right signings we could very well be up around the playoff spots.
he had a good run before Christmas and showed us he can play, if another team in the championship gets him and we fail to get top 6 by that team or heaven forbid relegated by that team! .. .. .. .. .. .
Or the new striker we can now afford gets us promoted or indeed scores a last ditch goal that keeps us from relegation! I'll miss him, he was quality on his day and no doubt our biggest entertainer, but we move on.. thats football.
