So Derby beat us 8 - 3 over the season - so what? We beat both promoted clubs 3 - 1 on aggregate didn't get us above them, did it? The table doesn't lie at the end of the season and everyone knows the rules in August - top 2 go up next 4 enter the lottery of the play offs.
I agree the rules are the rules, that's football though and it's fair enough to say unless you are massive rose-tinted spectacle wearer that they are probably on the basis of things a better team than us
They outplayed us at least twice - I honestly think we should have got something out of the league game at the KC - but after 46 games finished below us therefore they weren't better than us over the season
