I’m not saying he hasn’t but you don’t manage Argentina and “improve” a player. He clearly improved our Championship squad, I’m giving him the credit he deserves but at PL level it’s not so much about improving a players ability. Take both City and Liverpool no coach would take over their starting 11’s and improve their skill set, no at this level it’s about tweaking a system, picking players who already have the ability to best carry out your instructions. Spotting a weakness in your opponents and trying to counter it
I see where your coming from but listen to Crespo, Batistuta, Vidal, simeoni and many more worldies who all say Bielsa made them the player they became. So these top players and the likes of Mascarena all talk about Bielsa making them better. Pep even said this season that at club level in Europe Bielsa never had top players but if he had Man City or Chelsea he would never be beaten.even Messi speaks about the professor….
indeed he has. just my view but, for all the plaudits, I never thought kp looked that good for England as one of 2 dms. He Always looked better when rice went off. JM’s system is what the system is but I think we may lose/dilute some of kp’s strengths

My only thought on that is Bielsa never went to / got offers to go to those clubs because he wouldn’t cope with the big day to day management of those type of personalities. Pontus and Pablo being examples.
