Shawcross and Huth. I'm sure Huth is their top scorer this season. Absolute monster from set plays.

Personally, I rate Pennant, but he'll cost more than he's worth and there's probably better options knocking around

But if they got relegated, which is still possible, maybe we could get him cheap. He would be better cover (for our new big money striker) than Lovenkrands, Ranger and Shola.

Yeah maybe, but wouldn't want to spend too much on him, doubt Wolves will go down though.

Pennant is no better than Routledge, and Routledge is sound as anything, Pennant is an asshole.

He's just Routledge with more hair and an electronic tag.

So, if he's just like Routledge, but he plays in the first team at Stoke, can anyone else explain how they do so well?

    Seriously. I'd love some theories.

Pardew obviously doesn't fancy Routledge, otherwise he'd be in our team.

I know. What I mean is that a lot of people think that Routledge isn't EPL quality and is only good in the Championship, but plenty also seem to think that he's on par with Pennant, who plays on a weekly basis for Stoke.

This just adds to my further confusion of how Stoke do so well. It all seems to be down to their home games, so what the fook goes on in that place which helps them win so much?

Bringing Pennant into the team would be like making a lovely cheese sauce and then adding a dog turd to it.

He's been shown to be a spoilt brat since he joined Arsenal as a kid and is disruptive.

I would say Routledge is PL quality, he just needs a manager to have faith in him and give him some confidence. Stoke are only a couple of points ahead of us so they're hardly an outstanding team. Anyway, most midtable sides have a couple of players who we might consider Leccy League quality, I can certainly think of a few in our side!
