Hope this doesn't happen. Surely Diakite and Faurlin (assuming and hoping that his recovery will continue to go well) will be our central midfield next year. Seeing what happened having signed Dyer last year, surely the lesson has been learnt and we'll avoid Jenas.
wouldn't give you 4bob for the bloke, never rated him & he's hardly played in last two years & thats not what we want.
I'm not advocating Jenas, but centre/ holding mid is a critical position for us to get at least one, possibly two players in. We are hoping to sign Diakite, but his agent may be playing up. We have lost Barton at least temporarily, hopefully permanently. Faurlin only starts running outside next week, may not make the start of the season. So, as of today, the only player we can be pretty sure of being available in this position in August is Derry.
I think MH will look to buy a couple of players from abroad cant see jenas being his sort of player 1 sick note is enough.
