i was just thinking that, they always do it. They will take a long shot and shorten the odds by half, then the punters will think people ITK are trying to make money and jump on it. Then the bookies profit.

Defoe's medical is taking a long time. He's probably sitting in the waiting room reading old copies of Woman's Weekly waiting for the Doc to come back from holiday.

The problem i have with these rumours is that MH really looked unaware when the name Berba was mentioned. I think that Berba is a Twitter bull#### rumour.
As for Defoe he would never been having a medical the day his cousin is being laid to rest? Some people are stupid. I understand that we will be linked with every man and his dog but really some need to stop spreading this #### because it just 'snowballs' and people actually believe.

2 days ago this story came up. It cant be true as the media havent got any real sight on it and moved on to a Berbatov story which Mark Hughes has quashed. After the game yesterday it is clear we have enough forward options with Cisse, Johnson, Zamora and maybe Tarrabt just behind. If we get Defoe Bothroyd really has to go but he wasnt on the bench yesterday so could be leaving. Its defenders we need......

    It's more than that....

    Dear Jermaine,

If my calculations are correct, you will receive this letter in the waiting room, immediately after you saw Joey Barton struck by another disrepute charge.

First, let me assure you that I am alive and well. I've been living happily these past eight months in the year 1885. The disrepute charge that hit Joey caused a Twitter overload which scrambled the tweet circuits, activated the twat capacitor, and sent us back to 1885. The overload shorted out the extra-time circuits and destroyed his responsibility circuits. Unfortunately, Joey will never captain QPR again.

I set myself up as a blacksmith as a front while I attempted to repair the damage to Joey's reputation circuits. Unfortunately, this proved impossible because suitable excuses will not be invented until 1947. However, I've gotten quite adept at shoeing cart-horses and fixing Keiron Dyer.

I have buried Joey in the abandoned Unigate Site, adjacent to the Old Boot Hill Cemetery, as shown on the enclosed map. Hopefully, he should remain undisturbed and preserved until you uncover him in 1955. In his pocket you will find repair instructions. My 1955 counterpart should have no problem repairing him so that you can take him back to the future. Once you have returned to 2012, destroy the twat.
Do not, I repeat, do not let him attempt to come back. I am perfectly happy living in the fresh air and the wide-open spaces, and I fear that unnecessary time travel only risks further disruption of the space-time continuum. And please take care of Adel for me. I know that you will give him a good home. Remember to walk him to the bus stop twice a day, and that he only likes to pay in the opposition half. These are my wishes; please respect them and follow them.

And so Jermaine, I now say farewell and wish you Godspeed. You've been a good, kind, and loyal friend to Spurs. You've made a real difference in their side. I will always treasure our relationship and think on you with fond memories, warm feelings, and a special place in my front line.

    Your friend in time,
    "Doc" Emmett L. Brown.
